Experience Radical Hospitality and kick off National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week at Broad Street Love’s family-friendly event!

Saturday, November 15, 2025 – 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Donate gently-used clothing and new hygiene products to supply Broad Street Love’s Clothing and Hygiene boutique, which provides 3,247 Philadelphians with 14,475+ items per year.
Take a tour to learn more about Broad Street Love’s mission and work of Radical Hospitality, and about how issues of hunger and homelessness affect people in our community.
Learn about and sign up for volunteer opportunities, and how you can get involved in supporting your community.
Learn about our famous community meal service with Chef demonstrations and bites from local restaurants.
Enjoy all-levels art projects: make paper flowers and origami hearts to beautify the Broad Street Love space, try your hand at art therapy projects led by our partners at the Philadelphia Art Museum, and mix-and-match fabric swatches with BSL’s Menders to create wearable pouches for BSL’s guests.
Write messages of hope and support to some of the 4,000 Philadelphians who keep mailboxes at Broad Street Love.
Make music together with popular Philadelphia children’s educator Mr. John’s Music.
