Opera Philadelphia and Broad Street Love Join Forces for Community Engagement Through Music
Opera Philadelphia is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Broad Street Love, designed to bring the transformative power of music to community members experiencing housing insecurity. This initiative will run this fall and will include weekly vocal and choral instruction, providing an artistic outlet and fostering a supportive, creative environment.
The program will feature a dedicated teaching artist who will lead the sessions. Each week, participants will engage in music-making, learning various vocal techniques, and exploring group singing repertoire. The program will culminate in a final concert in December, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their artistry and celebrate their musical journey.
